Sad to hear today of the passing of former Dolphins QB Earl Morrall.  Anyone familiar with the "old days" of the NFL and the "perfect season" is well aware of Morrall's story.  Any younger fans who don't know about him should read up on him.  By all accounts, he was  classy, generous with his money and time towards numeous charities and a kind man.

He played a major role in the 72 team's undefeated season.  RIP

Good man. I had the chance to meet him at an autograph show many years ago. His table wasn't too crowded or crowded at all so I got to sit and talk to him for a good 10 minutes or so and he was a pleasant guy and very friendly.
