^^^ Again, I'm going directly from what is listed at MLB.com for the 2013 season. If Major League Baseball's official website has the wrong stats posted, that's on them...

Sorry, I wasn't clear in my last post.  It is MLB.Com's website that says Murphy played in 161 games in 2013, and 156 games in 2012.  I believe you may have accidentally clicked on 2012 the first time you looked it up.

OK, so I checked.  Neutral third party...  Here's what I found...  From MLB.com:

Yeah, I saw that myself yesterday. Not sure why it showed 2012 before...I would have to click on the drop-down box, as the 2013 season is the default setting, and I didn't click on that drop-down any of the previous times I saw the 156.

I went to the Marlins game yesterday.  Beautiful stadium.  I'd been there before, but I forget how nice it is to watch your game and not be in your seats.

I hung out at the Budweiser bar in the outfield the whole time and watched the HEAT game on the TV there.  It was fun.

So you went to a baseball stadium to watch a basketball game on TV?

^ Pretty much, yeah.  There is so much downtime in baseball that I watched both.  You can fully watch the game from the outfield bar.

Two series in, two series won. Not too shabby for a team with a makeshift starting rotation & nonexistent hitting from the Uptons & Co. Go Braves!

Whoever woke up Justin Upton, Evan Gattis, & Dan Uggla, thank you.

When did Bobby Valentine come back to Boston?

Brutal.

He did get hosed on that replay the game before. No excuse for not having the right angle when the Jumbotron did.

To all Marlins fans, my condolences for Jose Fernandez. Great pitcher, terrible injury.

He will probably need Tommy John surgery.  What is it with these young pitchers getting hurt?

Who knows? My team is no different than others in suffering this epidemic.

I think the kids are throwing more breaking balls early on and it's affecting their arms. Gone are the days of the starters who just throw 97 MPH and not much else. Sliders and splitters put the most strain on your arm and lots of kids have these nowadays. You can never miss a start with Fastball/Changeup, but throw in a splitter as your strikeout pitch and off to Dr. Andrews you go.

The AL East is garbage. It's like every team just decided to be mediocre or terrible. The Yankees decided to give up in the offseason with their acquisitions, I don't know everyone else's excuse is.
