This really puts Hernandez in a bind.  Gives him motive to kill the guy he first got charged with killing because apparently the guy had some info on the 2012 murders and was about to spill his guts.  Second, the Patriots can sue to try to recoup his signing bonus (or what's left of it) because there was a clause in the contract that assured the Patriots that Hernandez had nothing that would prevent him from fulfilling his end of it. If Hernandez committed the 2012 murders before signing that contract, then he signed it in bad faith.

The guy is facing charges of three murders. He's never going to be a free man again. I doubt seriously he cares much about the signing bonus, lol. -EK

That signing bonus is paying his legal fees. But it probably won't be enough to cover the legal fees of this second set of charges.

^^^I'm sure the Patriots have kissed any money they gave Hernandez goodbye.  They couldn't go after it until after he is convicted, by then his lawyers would have used it all up.  Not to mention the victims' families would go after any money Hernandez has in a civil trial, whether or not he is found criminally liable; and I doubt the Patsies would want to have the bad publicity of fighting over Hernandez' assets with the victims' families.

I am sure Mike Pouncey will help Hernandez out financially if he needs it

There is a special on Hernandez downfall at 9 tonight on CNN

It was replayed last night and I finally got to watch it. It was an interesting piece. Pretty much once his father died nobody was able to keep Hernandez in check and he got out of control. They even hinted that he might be involved in an unresolved shooting/attempted murder from a few years back in Florida with some other Florida Gators teammates when he was still in college. But the University of Florida sorta swept that under the rug and possibly paid some people off to shut up (that's how CNN presented it.) So, with no witnesses willing to speak up the case is still open and unresolved. Hernandez has multiple murder charges, an assault charge from his time in prison, and a gun-trafficking investigation currently on-going (the one also involving Mike Pouncey) with him at the center of it. The most interesting tidbit is Hernandez's lawyers contacted the Patriots and want his medical information they have on him from the day they drafted him. They want to see if he has diminished mental capacity through head trauma and want to find proof of it. Pretty much blame it on concussions if they can. Not sure that defense will work but since he is guilty as sin, they gotta try something I guess.

To me after watching this you realize he is 100% guilty of all of these charges. Him destroying his own security footage from his house, him scrubbing his house down, the hiding of the vehicle he used for the one murder....you ain't gotta be Scooby-Doo to solve this mystery.
