Nobody gets it this week

Though I don't get how my "fandom" was bad at the end of the game

I was scratching my head at giving Lamar the SoG too. He wasn't quite as impressive as Knowshon, but I thought he ran well today.

He had the early fumble and I must have thought Moreno was running the whole rest of the game.

Hard to choose so I'll go with Dion Sims for that drop in the end zone. Tannehill put it right in your hands MAN! Dude!

Sims for dropping the ball. Tanny put that right in his hands would have been a TD.

It might be Sims. He dropped that touchdown but wasn't he also the guy who dropped a perfect throw on 3rd and 6 or more on the last couple of drives which resulted in a 3 and out? Two big plays he dropped. Miller had the fumble but I think he ran well once he got the carries again. Wallace dropped some passes he should have caught and he had a fumble, but he did have that great catch in the end zone. It's difficult to give it to someone.

Mine goes to Wallace. Too many mistakes today. Fortunately we were still around for him to be able to atone for them.

Cameron Wake...once the pass rush kicked in the game changed.  Honorable mention to Moreno...proved he's more than a product of a Manning led Offence.  Probably our best free agent signing...which will help Lamar immensely!

Tanny.  His inaccuracy caused two turnovers in the first half.  The INT should have been a TD and the pass he threw way behind Wallace right before the fumble.  If that pass is on target, there would have been no fumble.  He also threw some balls, that while often caught, prevented the receiver not to be able to get first downs, TDs, or YAC.

Thankfully in the second half, all he had to do was manage the game, which he did quite well.

If scoring 23 second-half points is "managing the game," I'll be happy to have him manage the game every week.

Allowing the runner to pick up 6 or 7 on first down does wonders for QBs.

Tannehill, Wallace and Miller each turned the ball over and each had some measure of atonement later in the game. Miami beat a team by double digits that very few people thought they would. What's the point of a SOTG? No one gets it from me. -EK
