Fuck Harbaugh and the horse he rode in on. I'm completely serious about this. He basically played Miami against SF to get a better contract there. Fuck him. I hope he's out of the NFL if he doesn't make it in SF.

Or he wasn't keen on a team that already had a coach in place trying to hire him. Farfetched I know...  Roll Eyes

Jim Harbaugh is basically Andy Reid minus a sense of professionalism.  Andy Reid accomplished virtually the same thing in Philly (multiple back-to-back CCG appearances, along with a Super Bowl loss), and I wouldn't be thrilled about getting him, either.

Yeah, why hire coaches that have actually gotten their teams to Superbowls. Perpetually missing the playoffs is so much better.

Take anything that Spidey says about any 49ers player/coach with a metric ton of salt...he has deep-seated inferiority issues that he's still dealing with from SF's dynasty years.

Cue trademark Spidey circular argument/filibuster rebuttal in 3...2...1...

Sounds like you'd prefer Cam Cameron.

Actually he didn't. Ross flew out to him, if Jim wanted the job he would have flown to Miami. Ross chased him not the other way around

If that was the case tell Miami don't bother interviewing me I don't want the job.

^^^ You might want to see someone about that misplaced anger issue..."I'm completely serious about this."
Maybe, but on the bright side I got a feeling that Ross feels pretty much the same way.

I don't ever remember Jim Harbaugh telling the media he had no interest in the Miami job prior to getting the job in SF. Maybe my memory is faulty. I am over 50 now and on the down slide of my life. I have no problem being wrong and if I am and someone wants to go to the trouble to prove to me that I am, then I'll back up and punt, but for now I don't want Jim Harbaugh coming to the Dolphins especially if it doesn't work out in SF. What an ass he must be if they want him gone.

I said that I was glad Miami didn't get Harbaugh back in January 2011.  That was before he made his clown antics a trademark.

At least Harbaugh played in the NFL and has more credibility than coach Philbin.

He said that they didn't have the right guy making decisions (referring to Jeff Ireland) and that was the biggest factor in him turning down Miami at the time.  Him and Ross are both Michigan alumni.  I'm sure if Ross offers him the conditions he wants, along with a substantial pay raise, he will take the job.
