smells totally of desperation. Team is 1-6 and the GM must of found out if Rex goes he might be going as well. So Idzik is pulling out all of the stops. Wouldn't be surprised if Woody made this trade to try and sell tickets the rest of the year with a bad team. Which won't work, they don't sell tickets when the team is good. Forget about it when the team is bad!

The next Head Coach will like having Harvin around. Rex won't get to enjoy his play for very long. And Seattle won a SB without him so its not like he is a big piece to a championship puzzle. Depending on the round the pick ends up being in it could be a good trade for them. They were $20 mill under the cap. Harvin helps them but doesn't solve any of their problems on offense by any means. If they gave up a high pick to get him then the trade is really bad.

The trade is really bad no matter what. Seattle gave up a 1st, 3rd and 7th to get him. Horrible return on that investment.

LaCanfora reporting it's. 4th that could go to a 2nd. Which is bad for the jets if true.

Glazer reporting Harvin was causing trouble in the Seattle locker room and they just wanted him gone.  Gave him away. And Seattle puts up with all "trouble" players but they didn't want him around which tells ya something.

Percy did have a pretty impressive 87 yard kickoff return TD in that game, so they technically won the Super Bowl "with" him.

On their road to the Super Bowl last season he played in 1 regular season game. Then he did little in the playoffs till his 1 big play in the Super Bowl. It's safe to say they were beating Denver that game with or without him, just like they won every other game in 2013....without him!  He was not an important part of their championship team, he got a ring by getting a free ride. Not his fault, he was injured. But let's just call it what it is, he wasn't an important piece at all to their championship team

I never said he was an important piece. I merely pointed out the obvious error of your statement "And Seattle won a SB without him..."

Whatever, play on words your doing. They did win a SB without him. He had no contributions up to the SB game and his TD in the SB game was meaningless as Denver wasn't competitive in that game. He played in almost no games last year and whether he played in the actual SB game or not they won the championship without him and without any meaningful contribution from him all year long. His 1 TD in the SB didn't swing the game in Seattle's favor. If he didn't suit up in that game they would have still won just like they won all year without him. That's the point being made

In point of fact, they won the Super Bowl with him and he scored a TD in that game.

I don't know how you can argue that someone who had an 80+ yard return for a TD "did not contribute" to the win.

Yep, he was the key player for them last season in his 1 regular season game and his 3rd quarter TD swung that SB game in Seattle's favor when he ran it back and the score was already 22-0 Seattle.     Roll Eyes   Seattle would have really sucked without him last season and if he didn't play in the SB lord knows if they even win.

I stand corrected

Randy Moss is saying Seattle offered him a contract after the Percy Harvin trade. WOW!  Did Seattle keep Ireland on after the draft in some role? Because that makes zero sense for Seattle to be offering him a deal
