Seriously, how is what I am saying flawed?
The game was not over until one minute left... when the Dolphins were still ahead by two TDs?

Only a three TD lead is an acceptable win?

The Bears could have scored and recovered an onside kick

Remember Tebow?

but they couldn't finish the drives that would have put the game away

eating up clock was more important at that point, they had control of the game. They were in FG range. It was about shortening the game and taking the 3

They also didn't turn the ball over. If they had, then you could say the offense was letting the Bears back in the game.

The offense gave us a two score lead. When the Bears came out of the half and drove the field for 7, the offense responded with 7. The game was over at that point.

My rule is I don't consider a game over unless the opponent has to recover two onside kicks to comeback

How so?

One onside kick is hard but very possible

Two in row is almost impossible

Arguing with you guys really feels like I'm banging my head against a wall

Bang it long enough, and you might actually start making sense. Giving the shame to the offense when Tannehill had the best game of his relatively young career does seem pretty silly. As a matter of fact, despite the fact that I really do like you, I am going to throw a flag on you for being Intentionally Ungrounded.  Back it up ten yards and keep running post patterns until you get it right. Wink

How about the refs for trying to infuse a bit of excitement in the game with some ticky-tack calls in the second half? IMHO there's a general tendency among refs to do this (very annoying).

He only "missed" one field goal. The other one was blocked.

^^^ Last I checked, that goes into the missed column.

Sturgis by far gets the shame.
