For the wild card

Buffalo 5-4
Miami 5-4
Cincinatti 5-3-1
Pittsburgh 6-4
Baltimore 6-4
Kansas City 6-3
San Diego 5-4

Miami has the chance to defeat Baltimore and Buffalo this season.

They have been defeated by Kansas City and Buffalo this season

They defeated San Diego

The map for Miami isn't difficult but its just no margin for error after today.

Probably a win....Minnesota and TWICE vs the Jets (both have terrible offenses and 2 of them are at home)

Toss up games......Buffalo and Baltimore (both home)

Probably a loss .....At Denver and At New England

Miami is at 5 wins, win your 3 lock games vs teams with a god awful offense and nothing special on defense. Then win your two toss up games since both are at home. That gets ya to 10 wins. 10-6 in the AFC might not get a wild card but it gives ya a shot. Especially since KC has head to head tiebreaker over us. That's the map

Every 4 loss team in the AFC holds the tie-breaker over Miami. They're currently seeded 11th.

With the way the Jets handled Pittsburgh today, I wouldn't pencil them in as 2 easy wins.

San Diego does not hold a tiebreaker over Miami.  They hold a tiebreaker over Buffalo, who holds it over Miami.  Not really the same thing.

The Jets with 1 win since Week 1 are now "great" overnight. Fireman EK is back!

That link FiremanEK provided is worthless anyway until every team has had their bye weeks and the bye is over with since until then the number of games each team has played isn't equal. Some teams have played 10 games and others have played only 9 which factors in that silly standing. After week 12 you will now the "true" standings.

With Cincy, Pitt, Cleveland, & Baltimore all in the same division, they will be playing against each other and will knock two of them out of the playoffs.  The Tie that Cincy has in the standings could end up being the deciding factor on eliminating a 9-7 team.

Totally agree. Plus KC has a really tough schedule here on out. Seattle, Denver, Arizona, Pitt, SD. They do have the Raiders twice, but if KC gets in they will earn it with that schedule.

KC and San Diego are notorious for falling apart at the end of the season.  I expect the same from them again.  Also, I don't think the entire NFC North will be in the picture by week 15.  Let's hope the Dolphins' home win over Baltimore knocks them out of the playoff picture.

Sucks that you will probably need 11 wins in the AFC, but the NFC will probably have 2 8-win teams in their wild cards...

except for Cleveland losing the Dolphins did not get any help this afternoon.  The Chiefs and the Chargers won today.

I will root for the Colts to beat the Patriots tonight.  I will be rooting for the Titans against the Steelers tomorrow.

Saints laid down at home too for Cincy too which didn't help. But the Seattle loss to KC bugs me only because Pete Carroll totally mis-managed that game at the end. KC up 4 with about 6 min to go, Seattle has 4th down inside the 10 and he doesn't kick the FG he goes for it. Of course a few min later Seattle has the ball and driving near FG range, but now the FG doesn't help and they need a TD so they force some plays.  Never leave points on the field and always extend the game. Carroll was bad today in that game with his decisions.

I would have kicked the field goal in the first situation, but even if it was 24-23 I would still have gone for it in the second situation.  You have a better chance of converting that fourth down then kicking a field goal from that long.

No help so far with the Falcons and Texans both trailing late in the fourth quarter

Browns just stole a victory from the Falcons to really hurt Miami.
