^^ While Wilson isn't elite I would say he is better than a game manager.  He is an above average QB who gives quality QB play
But if he was just an average QB, Seattle still would have won a bunch of games last year on the strength of their D and the running of Marshawn Lynch which would disprove your theory that it's tough to win without a great QB.

Wilson is way better than an average QB.  But he has had off days too many times to be labeled elite.

I'd say Wilson is around the same level as Romo and Rivers (so, not elite, but good).  Romo and Rivers both have higher highs (but lower lows), while Wilson is like the rich man's Alex Smith.

The scary part?  Tell me how different Wilson is from a 3rd-year Tom Brady.  Remember, Brady wasn't really considered an elite passer (just a good game manager who made some clutch plays) until 2007.

Correct. He was a dink and dunk QB until Randy Moss.

I guess I cannot tell if you are kidding or if you are serious? I'm a huge Dolphins fan, and I hate Tom Brady! But the guy was a badass since the first time he stepped on the field. He had talented receivers, but never anyone elite until he got Randy Moss and Wes Welker. He has dismantled defenses since day one. He has always been elite. Always...

I bet if you ask Troy Brown's mom, she'd say otherwise.

Outside his family and close friends...yeah, you're probably right.

Perhaps we should ask Troy Brown's mom.  I bet she'd agree with me.

Solid stats, but certainly not top tier until 2007 when the Pats changed their cheating method and got better receivers.

When Tanny has a QB Rating of 91.0 or better, Miami is 16-0.
Update: 16-1.
