We're only allowed to pick one person, right?

If that's the case, I can't pick anybody.

the main problem was no pressure on Manning.

Jimmy Wilson

He was the Broncos best offensive player in the first half

If I can't pick the entire defense, then Jimmy Wilson.

I'll have to go back and see when they called that first timeout in the second half.

A pick of Kevin Coyle counts as "the entire defense" (and vice versa).

My pick is Jimmy Wilson.

Can't blame Coyle, IMO.  You can make the best plans in the world, but if your players can't execute, it won't matter

Jimmy Wilson.  I rarely get mad watching football anymore.  But yesterday I just wanted to kick Jimmy Wilson in the nads right through the tv.  Its one thing to such that bad.  But it is another thing to have sucked that bad for this many years.  How this guy continues to be gainfully employed as a DB in the NFL truly baffles me.

I had Jimmy Wilson pegged at halftime.  The guy can't get his head in the game.
I thought about giving it to Coyle, for general defensive suckitude.
I thought about giving it to whoever came up with the crap gimmick onside kick attempt.  That was horrible.  You're not going to fool anyone in this league, just go line up and kick it and try your best.
But in the end, I give my SHAME OF THE GAME to Cameron Wake.  Yes, you heard me right.  A Pro-Bowl DE, the heart of this defense, and his name was completely absent from the broadcast outside of the player introductions.  The key to winning this game was putting Manning on his ass, and Wake barely penetrated the pocket one time.  He is held to a higher standard and I expect more, TBH.

Cameron Wake

He was barely mentioned the whole game, and when he was they were talking about him being on the sidelines.

No pressure on Manning all day. I have to agree and put the blame on our pass rushing specialist. Wake gets the nod.

I have to stick with Jimmy Wilson but you guys made a good point about Cameron Wake being missing all day yesterday.  So I will nominate him for my Milk Carton Award.   Grin
