We continue to fly. The Boston marathon still runs. The federal government still operates in Oklahoma City. But the movie got canceled  I make to pledges: I will boycott all sony products until they release the movie 2. To see the movie on opening day. who is with me?

Here's the thing:
I get what SONY is doing. I hate it. But I get it.
As a manager, shit rolls up-hill to me and occasionally, you have to ask yourself, simply speaking in financial terms, "do I make more money by just paying this problem to go away?" That sometimes mean knowing that you're right and caving to the biggest idiot assholes the world has ever known. Because the other side of the coin is just a miserable shit-storm of hassle.
So, from SONY's point of view, this is a decision to mitigate risk. Sucks.
I hate it and wish they didn't.
Edit: You also have to boycott all major theater chains since they pulled the movie first. SONY would've had to release it to only mom and pop theaters, pulling in very little money anyway.

I'm putting my Sony Walkman on the shelf, and I'm not gonna use it until they release the movie!!
