Bills hired Rex Ryan as their head coach. Paperwork being done currently.

Rex is staying in the AFC East

And it looks like Marrone severely overplayed his hand with the Jets and he won't get that job either.

This is bad news for the Dolphins I fear. Buffalo has far more talent than the Jets on both the offensive and defensive sides of the ball.

As ferocious as the Buffalo defense was, it will be even more ferocious with Fat Rex running it.

You Rex lovers are delusional

Rex Ryan's Jets defense rankings in points allowed last four years: 20, 20, 19, 24. That "defensive genius" label he has is a joke

Went from one bad QB situation to another. We'll see if he learned anything before his defense falls apart since their defense is already pretty darned good.

Agreed...overrated coach.   Still riding the coattails of those two AFC Championship appearances.

I don't have to believe that Rex is a defensive genius to simply think he's a good defensive coach.

Hate to say it, but rather have Rex here over Philbin in a heartbeat.

The old Rex is back! The muzzle is off and he is back to his big talking ways

http://espn.go.com/nfl/story/_/id/12166812/rex-ryan-predicts-buffalo-bills-return-playoffs-says-build-bully

"Fourth in the league was probably a little disappointing," he said. "I know we'll lead the league in defense."

"We are going to build a bully, and we're gonna see if you want to play it for 60 minutes," he said.

Sadly, the only thing coming out of our coaches mouth is a "TIMEOUT!", when both Detroit and Green Bay are trailing us in the last minute of the game with all of their timeouts used up.

Just don't see why we move on fora 4th year with this lost puppy?  Rex's record has sucked the last two season, but he still is able to sell ice to Eskimos..so to speak.  I think respect for him with players is far greater than anything Philbin could ever get.

Rex on ESPN this morning was classic. I mean vintage Rex with his bombastic talk. He said he wants to throw the ball as little as possible. He hired an OC who will  run the ball as much as possible. He wants to run the ball and manage the game, and only throw when needed.

Good luck with that philosophy!

I have heard speculation that the reason RR went with the Bills rather than Atlanta is he is infatuated with BB. Certainly fits with his comments that he considers the pats a bigger game than playing his old team thejets
