It's been a while since we did one of these.

Tell us about yourself.

- how you found this site
- what you do for a living
- interests
- what you're all about

I can't remember how I found this site, just stumbled across it several years ago.  I live in upstate New York and work as a tax accountant.  I golf in a couple leagues during the summer and bowl in a league during the winter; in between never ending home improvement projects.  "I like fast cars and fast women, I guess that's why the guys in my car club call me the cruiser."  I've been a Dolphins fans since the early 70's (I'm 49), and have seen them play in four different NFL stadiums (multiple times), but have never been to Miami.

I found the site by creating it.
I'm 37, married with 2 girls.
I'm the office manager of a law firm in S. Florida.
I'm pretty easy going, enjoy sports, music, technology, science and pop culture.

I've been a fan just from growing up down here and having my family and friends all follow the same team.  I've had season tickets on and off throughout my life (off now).  I've also had on and off season tickets for the HEAT (on now).  I try to attend at least one away game per year.  Usually it's New York Jets, but I've also seen Dallas, Houston, Tampa & Jacksonville.

Found this site on the internet freshman year of college

I am 27 and live in Massachusetts.  I work three jobs, though lately it has been just two, because I'm getting so many hours at one.  I am a phlebotomist, a cashier, and a proctor.

I'm interested in sports, music, art, theater, lifting weights, playing the piano, good food,  and good desserts

I think that also applies for the fourth topic too.

26 recently moved to Alaska where I will be a laborer. Found this site because Dave Gray posted a link to it on Gamespot years back, I'm from Colorado and the reason I like Miami is because I Watched ACE VENTURA when I was in 2nd grade stupid reason I know but it stuck.

Seen only two games in person that gutsy Fiedler comeback against Denver on a Sunday night and a forgettable loss at Denver in one of the bad years.

I like horror fiction and sci-fi.

I don't remember how I found this site. Perhaps the Dolphins made me cry and I was looking for others with the same issue? LOL
I'm 51 and I'm a mainframe programmer (COBOL and NATURAL mostly) who works in maintenance for Southwest Airlines. We keep the jets you ride on in good working order, make sure that the oil gets changed and the wings stay on. Smiley
Been rooting for the Dolphins since I was a kid, probably around late 70's because I grew up in Illinois and the Bears were so bad then I had to find another team to root for. Dolphins were an easy choice in the 70's cuz I just loved the way they played. So well coached, just plain fun to watch. When Marino arrived in '83 my love for them grew and when I moved away from Illinois to Dallas in 84' Miami became my only team and I've stuck with them. Been some rough times lately but there were a lot of great times in the '80s and most of the 90's. I think Tannehill is the real deal, now all we need is a real coach and I think we can get back to the playoffs on a regular basis.

I have always wanted to visit Alaska.  Where in it do you live?

Looking at the United States on a map or globe and seeing how far it is stretched out is actually quite eye catching

I found this site by registering the domain for Dave and Fau when I worked with them many, many years ago.

I'm 39 (turning 40 in a month!). I live in the middle of fucking nowhere Wyoming. Like, we are the biggest town for at least 2 hours in all directions. The "big city" near us has 60,000 people. I am what people here call "an oil wife" since my guy works in the oil fields.

Right now I work a PT job at a local DVD rental/video game/ bookstore just to get me out of the house. On the side I'm working on selling organic pet products and freelancing. (I'm a web developer, but there are no jobs like that here.)

I like to run, read, sew, play video games. Planning some epic trail running and camping adventures this summer once the snow clears in the mountains. I'm crazy about growing stuff and can't wait until we buy land in the near future.

I hate football.

I got in trouble one night back in 2003 after slurping down too many Jägermeister and rubbing alcohol jello shots, and I beat up a homeless crack junkie who happened to be wearing an old Miami Dolphins cap. Unfortunately, a passing police cruiser saw the assault happening, and after an exhausting 3-county high speed chase on my mountain bike, I was finally caught and arrested.  As part of my punishment, the sadistic bitch of a judge ordered me to become a member of a Miami Dolphins website until I had made 20,000 posts worth of contrition.  This is how I arrived at TDMMC. I've got 140-something posts to go, and then I can finally be free of this loony bin...

As for my occupation, I am a freelance writer who specializes in writing comedy that isn't funny. Just ask MikeO...he never laughs at my jokes.

As for my hobbies, I already mentioned beating up homeless crack junkies, though now I avoid any who are wearing NFL licensed apparel. Lesson learned. I also enjoy pointing and giggling at extremely short people and ridiculing religious zealots.

As for what I'm all about, I am a staunch advocate for equal rights, unless you're a Holy roller midget crack junkie, of course.

I live near Fairbanks right in the interior. It's nice but there are far pretty parts of the State, the good news is you can spend years here and still have more to see.

I found this site because my friend Tenshot who I went to high school with told me about it.  He said they welcome fans of other teams, so I wanted to see what fans of the team south of mine are up to.  I've been lurking for a while and I finally decided to join.

I grew up in Bradenton but I live in St. Petersburg.  I work as a hearing aid specialist at Audibel Hearing.

I love sports that involve full body hitting, so I'm a big Bucs and Lightning fan.

I really like this thread, by the way...

I found this site because a friend of mine since college IM'ed me one day and told me he was making a satirical site about the ugly side of the Miami Dolphins and he wanted to know if I'd be interested to help out.  I said "sure!"

I'm 37, married, no kids.  I am a state-licensed mechanical engineer who works for a mobile device handset manufacturer.  Not Apple.  F them and their crap products.  I design external protection systems for sensitive electronics of mobile devices.  I can confidently say that our products are among the toughest in the world.

I love watching NHL hockey (shocked, I know) and have season tickets for the Florida Panthers.  I occasionally dabble in a video game here and there.  I have fun in GTA5 now and then.  I enjoy travelling, but wish I could do more of it.  I am a hobbyist in photography - nowhere near professional.  I like to write editorially, as I do sometimes on the TDMMC blog.  I am a craft beer junkie, and love visiting local breweries anywhere I go.  I really enjoy the variety that craft breweries have to offer.  Chili pepper beer is my new favorite.  I enjoy all kinds of music but play no instruments.  I have always wanted to learn bass guitar, but that is extremely low on my current priority list.
