WHAAAAA???

Some people need perspective...

I have seen serious chatter in social media and other places around the interwebs discussing firing Dan Campbell after last night's game.

Are you serious?  Please!

New coach is 3 games in, and lost a game to the defending Super Bowl champs, who are 6-0 and blowing everyone out.  OH NO!!

I'm surprised it wasn't 50-7.

If you are one of those posting comments and crap about firing Dan Campbell after 3 games, you ought to be ashamed.  Please stop embarrassing the entirety of Dolphins fans nation-wide by making us look like fickle moronic assholes.

I don't think a team has ever fired an "interim" head coach....EVER in the history of the league. Anyone who wants him fired is clueless.

Will he have the job come early January...that's a different story. To fire him midseason and hire another "interim" coach, beyond foolish

Absolutely worst thing that Ross could do is fire him.  What decent coach would ever want to work for the dolphins ever.

What about someone who has pretty much said that he won't be back next year unless they make the playoffs? Might as well fire him now.

That statement is making a prediction, not expressing a desire.

Maybe he is predicting that he won't be back unless they make playoffs, but personally would prefer to have him back even if they don't.

That's a logical comment to make as if they don't make the playoffs odds are he won be back. I'm not out there saying he should be fired NOW like the original post in the thread was stating !  Roll Eyes

Most interim coaches aren't retained and kept on as the head coach. In fact very few are. Jason Garrett was the last I can remember honestly in the past 20 or 30 years.  Almost all get fired after the season

Lose this week and they are out. Division tiebreakers come before conference tiebreaker. Miami is 0-3 inside the AFC East with road games vs Buffalo and NY still. If they can't win a tie-breaker inside their own division they have no shot to make the playoffs.

Especially with a Raider team that looks for real, and Pitt now has Big Ben back so I think they will right there ship. Throw in the Jets and Bills and its a long-shot for the Fins. Fins lose this week and you can stick a fork in them. Season is over

Although the Raiders are improved, with their remaining schedule I don't see them being better than 8-8.  For the Steelers although Big Ben is back, they just lost Le'Veon Bell for the season; and they have some tough games on their schedule.  The Jets have QB issues between Fitzpatrick's hurt finger, and Smith's latest injury; not sure who they will even have start this week.

Bottom line is Miami just needs to win, and this week against the Bills is HUUUGGGGEEEE.
