What an incredible comeback in the WCF from Golden State. I won't pretend to be unbiased (as a Sonics fan, I hate the Thunder like poison), but that was the kind of back-to-the-wall play one would expect from a championship team.

On the other side, CLE was looking unbeatable until games 3 and 4 in Toronto.  They definitely look like a solid team, but I don't know if they are as good as the team the Warriors just dispatched.

My prediction is Warriors in 6.

Do you guys consider this an GSW comeback or OKCT blowing it at this point? I've got to say, I've been entertained even though I am more of a hockey fan. I just wish the two leagues could stagger their playoffs better so it is easier to pay attention to both.

GSW vs OKC was a good series.

I find Golden State very interesting because they defy traditional NBA logic.  Usually jump-shooting teams tear through the regular season, but when the playoffs come, games slow down and you can't outpace the other team.  It's why great regular season teams like Phoenix with Steve Nash couldn't ever win it all.  It's just hard to get 4 great games out of shooters in a series.

And Golden State is just different.  They are so hot when they're hot, that it's enough to overcome them getting cold.  I thought that OKC might finally have muscled them out, but sure enough, they hit a bunch of threes in a row.  They just make enormous swings.

I think that OKC would've been a tougher matchup for the Cavs with their size, but Golden State can just get super hot.

I go with the Warriors until proven otherwise.  7 games.

I'm pulling for LeBron to bring a title back to Cleveland...but not sure they have the team to beat the Warriors.

That said, I did predict that OKC would beat Golden State before that series started, so what the heck do I know?  Wink

Regression to the mean.  GS wasn't going to shoot cold forever, and Serge Ibaka & Dion Waiters were going to turn back into pumpkins.

It's like Matthew Dellevedova last year.  He played out of his mind for two games that CLE won, and then he turned back into Matthew Dellevedova and the Cavs got rolled.

I think they need to get a first one before they can bring it back.

Game 7 is in Golden State...so LeBron could technically bring the Cavs first title BACK to Cleveland. Wink

Draymont upgraded to a Flagrant after the game, which is a good call.  He up-ticked Lebron in the nuts, which I originally didn't notice but saw on the reverse angle.  That guy is a jerkoff, but one that, ultimately, I have to root for.

So, Green is suspended a game, giving some small chance to Cavs.  Gotta steal the win in GS with no Draymont, the win at home, and then game 7 -- anything can happen.

Bummed that Cavs won, but happy for Lebron.  I like him.  ...think their fans are scumbags and hate Dan Gilbert, though.

I'm looking forward to all the talking heads today. In my opinion, this puts a mark on the Warriors season similar to the Patriots undefeated regular season. No one is going to care about it.

What a difference three games makes.  When the Cavs were down 3-1 all the talking heads were saying LeBron's status among the Greats was questionable; now they are saying he may be the best ever.  Bunch of phonies.

p.s. I was rooting for the Warriors.

Sports media is that absolute worst.

They're asking if he's Greatest of All Time now, where if he didn't get that block, they'd be calling him a failure to Cleveland.  It's a big joke.
