 6-10

I feel our defense will be very hit and miss throughout the year.

I feel we'll be anok offense, and any chance of wins are going to be airing it,and struggle running the ball...

7-9

I think that if we can go 1 for 2 in the first two weeks, then we'll be in a spot to make the playoffs if we get hot down the stretch.

Neither will happen, likely.

If everything goes as planned meaning that there aren't any major injuries to key players, 8-8 is realistic. Unfortunately things almost never go as planned, so I'm thinking about 7-9 or 6-10. I think it takes Gase more than a year to really get the offense where it needs to be, but I think you'll see signs this year. I also think we still need more offensive linemen to really have a good offense. The defense has holes everywhere you look. The starting 3 LB's need to upgraded. The defensive ends need to be upgraded. It's too early to know how Howard will play at corner, but that could be another area of concern. Basically the defense is a work in progress and it will take a tremendous coaching job for them to just not be awful. Other than offensive line the the next draft or 2 has to be all about the defense.

Well I'll be the optimist with 9-7 and missing the playoffs.

I've been overly optimistic the last couple years, but don't feel good about this year's record for a variety of reasons.  After a 1-3 start they will end up 6-10; the defense will hurt them this year.  However, I do think it's a year in the right direction, I hope the coaching and O-line are much improved.

My unreasonably optimistic game-by-game breakdown has MIA finishing 9-7, but I really think it'll be 7-9.

I am going in with low expectations, I get the feeling every game will be a struggle for our offensive line and defense.

I'm going 8-8 because honestly ... I have no idea. This team is hard to get a read on IMO. I can see them being competitive but history says they won't be.

Preparing to have things thrown at me...

Dolphins go 4-12 this season, and lock up the #3 pick in next year's draft.

6-10

I don't see anything special about this team outside of Landry. The trend continues,  here's hoping I'm wrong.
