THE ASSCLOWN AWARD

« on: September 18, 2016, 04:11:41 pm »

Everybody on the team.

The offense sucked in the first half.

The defense sucked when it counted

The coaching made bad decisions.

The two minute drill was bungled

Ajayi

The coaching deserves more of the blame than the players.

They let Patriots do the same thing in the first half over and over.

Gase will likely not finish this season as the Dolphins coach.

Gase.  If you can't get your team ready to play a divisional rival, you have no business being a head coach in the NFL.

The three dorks who took a knee during the anthom get mine. This team isn't good enough to have any more distractions.

Ultimately, the defense is more to blame than the offense.

Six minutes left, you know they are going to run the ball, and you can't stop them?

Then, THREE missed sacks?

Everybody on the team.

I have to circle back to this, why did you even start a game ball thread if you feel this way?

Agree!!

It's like he rushes here after the game to start these threads and gets some sick pleasure out of starting the thread

There's no rule on who is allowed to start a thread, and the thread would have been created regardless.

The only rule is that you aren't allowed to start the thread before the game is over.

That first half was the most painful half of football I've seen in years. The defense in particular were horrendous to a degree that I'm fairly certain my long-dead grandmother could have gotten good separation.

Gase was quoted as saying that not a single play had gone by on offense without a breakdown somewhere. With so many breakdowns, that's on the coaching staff. When it happens on both offense and defense, that's on the HC.

So Gase gets my shame of the game.

(I'm not even remotely close to thinking Gase should be fired, that's just stupid, overall I like what I've seen from him so far, but this was a BAD game.)
