Dead at 87.  Most here probably aren't old enough to have watched the Gong Show, but at the time it was great TV.  I'll never forget Gene Gene the Dancing Machine, or The Unknown Comic.

I loved that show as a kid...one of the funniest programs on TV.

The Unknown Comic was pure gold!

Loved The Gong Show as well as The Dating Game and The Newlywed Game. RIP.
