The singer was found dead in Detroit and they are investigating it as a suicide at this point.

RIP

I really liked his music.  He's one of the guys that I continued to like even after his original band that got him famous.  His track for Casino Royale is a really good song.

He was one of my favorite singers, and I love me some Soundgarden and Audioslave. The Casino Royale track (You Know My Name) is probably my favorite opening Bond music track. I wish I was able to see him in person.

This bummed me out so much this morning.  Some are saying he may have gone the Michael Hutchence route.

Just saw this on FB and said "oh fuck no". This is the worst one yet for me. I don't really get too broken up over entertainers dying, but this is so depressing.

If you add up all the music that I've listened to in the past 10-12 years, Chris Cornell in some form would probably top the list. Whether in Audioslave, Soundgarden, or solo stuff, he was a true talent and had a great voice. This really sucks. RIP Chris, thanks for the awesome music brother....

Actually, I like some of his later stuff better than Soundgarden stuff. If you haven't heard it, check out Euphora Mourning. His first solo album after Soundgarden. Awesome stuff.

Anyhow, I posted another thread before I saw this one. Delete the other one for me. For some reason it won't let me delete it. Thanks.
