There is a lot of bad football being played.  I watched Redzone yesterday and many of the games had no scoring, but it wasn't because of great defense.  It was dropped passes, 3 yard outs, and general poor play.

Did anyone else notice this?

Especially the Bucs/Bears game...Bears WR were dropping everything.

Was week 2 last year better?  I wouldn't be surprised if sloppy early-season play was the norm.

You know, what with the millennials and such.  Tongue

I'm with Spider...seems like we see pretty sloppy play the first few weeks every season. I overdosed on football this weekend, since I got Irma'ed out of watching any the previous weekend. I saw sloppiness, but I also saw some damned good football.

I'm with Spider...

I do believe in miracles!  Grin  First Stroke agrees with a Spider post, and secondly Spider has not yet found a way to argue with Stroke over said post.  This may be a first.   Cool

I agree with Tenshot
So you agree to disagree about agreeing?  How egregious.

I saw somewhere (can't verify source) that the NFL has scored 200+ fewer points so far, than last year.  I will try to look for it.

Make sure you consider that there's also been 1 fewer game played.

The over/under on the Bucs/Fins game before it was cancelled was 212!!  😀

That's about right considering FAU's prediction on this site for the Miami vs. LAC game.   Roll Eyes

The Dolphins would have to kick a field goal every 51 seconds to get their half of that.
