THE ASSCLOWN AWARD

« on: October 22, 2017, 04:31:40 pm »

Edit:  I misremembered.  Cutler did indeed have just one pick.

How about Pouncey for the two penalties.

Or maybe Philips for blowing the tackle

Cutler for the two picks, luckily Matt Moore saved him.
you are so delusional.

He had ONE interception and TWO Tds, just like your boy Moore.

Tankersley.  He was burned a lot in the first half.

Tankersley and Pouncey both looked bad at times, but they both looked good for much of the game.

Bushrod had a couple of really costly plays where he looked completely lost.

As for Cutler, he really didn't look good out there. And, no, I'm not going to blame the goal line int on him. That was completely on the left tackle (not sure if Tunsil had left the game at that point). For some inexplicable and inexcusable reason, he just stopped blocking and backed a step off his man. Had he maintained contact and continued blocking the defender wide, there is no way the throw would have been batted. Continuing the block would also have enabled the quarterback to scramble, something I realize Cutler doesn't do a lot of, but that's no excuse for getting sloppy.

I'd have to watch the game again to pin the shame on any one defender, so I'm tempted to give it to Burke for the defense overall, but on the other hand, they did hold the jets to 21 points + the nearly impossible to prevent score from a few yards out after the int.

Instead, I'll give my SotG to the offensive line for, yet again, looking like sh*t.
