After this season, you're looking at your roster, and Matt Moore is a guy who has gotten rallying cries from fans to be the starter.  Though we start to forget, I saw people talking about Moore starting over Tannehill and a good amount of the crowd was chanting for Moore to come in to play over Cutler.

Meanwhile, he is what he is.  We know Moore's ceiling, I think.  Three different coaching staffs have evaluated him, so it's not like he's facing some internal politics of a coach that doesn't like him or an offense that doesn't fit him.

To no fault of his own, does it make sense to cycle Moore out, just because it's not good for the team to have a popular backup that the fans like over a long period of time?

The answer should be yes, because THill comes back next year and should be the starter.  We should draft a QB that can sit behind him, so that will be the #2 QB.  See ya Matt Moore.

I don't think you are going to be hearing much of that the rest of the season or next season though. I think the only reason you start looking on from Moore is if you goal is to start challenging Tannehill with another QB.

I think it's time to take a high draft QB to challenge/replace THill.

^ Not me.

Offensive line 'till I die.  (And we need a Linebacker)

Well we drafted a LB, unfortunately the injury bug got him before the season started.  However, a second LB or DE wouldn't hurt.

HIJACK - Just because I don't want to start a thread on the topic.

I didn't hear the sound on the game, but what was the ruling when the Ravens fumbled the ball forward into the endzone and then were allowed to recover in the endzone for a TD.  Seems like the ball should have been spotted back at the site of the fumble.
