I hate any transactions that happen in the middle of the road.  I think it's dangerous, intrusive, and slows traffic.  This includes:

- bums begging for money
- people selling roses
- firefighters collecting donations in a boot

If I were king of the world, I'd make all of these illegal, and crack down on fines for those that gave money.

^^^agree on bums and roses.

Not using turn signals
Not going when the light turns green bc you're on your fucking phone
Getting talked over when you are talking
People who think their issues are most important, and you should just drop everything.

I hate Girl Scout cookie season. Not only does every parent you know hit you up but ones you don't even know sit outside stores and try to shame you.

But they are tasty.

Fuck those kids.  I get them from a coworker when his daughter sells them each year.  I don't feel bad for the ones trying to hustle outside of Publix.

That's what I was thinking ... LOL. Maybe it's because I have kids and have dealt with many fundraisers but I've never thought of Girl Scouts as trying to shame or make anyone feel guilty. In fact I think the opposite.

At our soccer club we offer some scholarship money for some of the kids who can't afford to play. One of the requirements is the member, or someone representing their family, must volunteer X number of hours at the club. More times than not they would not honor that and then request money again the following year.  Meanwhile a few others would work their butts off to make sure they honored their commitment. I see the kids who are selling things or going door to door as those kids. They are actually trying to help raise money for whatever cause and I respect that.

This is why the US will never be a world class soccer power, because in the US you need to pay to play soccer.

A couple of big pet peeves of mine...

1) People who constantly talk over people in a conversation. Do that to me a few times on the phone, and I'm hanging up on you. Do it a couple of times while we're speaking face-to-face, and I'm turning around and walking away.

2) People who don't pay attention when the light changes from red to green, and start moving forward only when someone behind them hits their horn.

To piggyback off of this, I am annoyed when people don't account for incidental time.  Nothing is "5 minutes away".  Nothing.  It takes 5 minutes to get in and out of your car.  So, if you have something to do in 5 minutes and you're leaving now, you're not getting there.

I hear people say this about places like Disney World.  They'll say, it's two hours away.  It's not.  It's 2:20 just to get to the edge of Orlando and then the traffic in the city is easily another 20 minutes, not to mention parking, shuttles, etc.

I agree and it isn't cheap. To play on a top competitive team it costs about $1800 just for registration plus you have to pay for your kit and warm-ups, back pack, practice gear (approx $300-$500 for all of it), as well as travel and then team fees like coach's expenses (their hotel, food and travel fees). It's not for the low income and as such why we will suffer.

My biggest peeve is slow driving in the left lane. If you are not passing someone get over. I don't care if your doing 10 MPH over the speed limit, if someone is behind you let them pass. I swear some people live to piss people off by riding next to the car beside them.

My pet peeves are people that are always late, and people that change plans at the last minute.

This,It drives me nuts, unfortunately my Job has tons of this built in...My Underlings are the WORST about being late.

I've had to send a groups out of town, and I've asked them their preference, and they've blown it.Drive up the day before stay in a motel,or leave early in the morning and drive up early enough not to be late. Without fail...100% of the time 15 minutes before time they are scheduled to meet, they forgot about it, not ready,etc..I schedule a minimum mour to hour and half built in being late into my schedule...

My biggest pet peeve right now...
- Not following the directions

- Cashiers getting attitudes, when I refuse to give a Phone number during checkouts.

- Shoppers/Members/Loyalty/rewards cards at stores, gas stations, etc - Inevitably I'm in line behind the 2 people that either want to sign up for them, or they want to use their points, and their is some type of problem.

- People who just stop their car in the fire lane if front of the store, and block traffic.(Sometimes I get it,and I'm fine with it- they are loading something big, letting someone in or picking someone out, etc) Here they have abad habit,of staying there while the person is in the store...

- Taking your shopping cart, leaving it in the middle of the aisle, while you go look at something on the shelf.

- Leaving the store with all your stuff in the cart, standing in between 2 sets of doors (usually right in the center) This is the time you need to stop...Block everyone else...A.) Look at the receipt B.)Try to find your keys in your pocket, purse, etc  Or C.) Check your cell phone again.

Another recurring one for me is people that don't answer direct questions.  ...they dance around what you're asking and provide you with backstory or they redefine the problem.  Redefining the problem over and over is something I find incredibly annoying.

This is especially true in a work setting.
