We are finally going to see the type of offense Gase has been trying to implement. Larson is going to help solidify our line. TJ is going to right the defensive ship. Call me crazy, but call me right when it happens!
And that's the offense.
What happens when the defense continues to surrender an opposing passer rating of over 104, which has been associated with an average record of 4-12 in the league since 2004?
For 7-1 to happen, the offensive passer rating would have to rise from 80, where it is now, to at least 100, and the opposing passer rating would have to plummet from 104, where it is now, to at least the low 80s.
In other words, the team would have to suddenly become something vastly different from itself.
Don't get your hopes up. This team will finish no better than 6-10.
