Not really.  They win out and their odds increase to 50/50 to make the playoffs.  If you still doubt, you're being pessimistic.  That is, IF they can win out.
Nevermind lol

Last year there was good reason to be optimistic at the end of the year. This year, not so much. I can be optimistic about next year though and I am.  Grin

Priorities for the offseason:

Sign Jarvis.
Draft a RB, CB (can never have enough), LB (or 2 or 3) and a couple of offensive lineman.
Get Tannehill back
Get Raekwon back
Get Lippett back
Someone teach DeVante how to catch.

+1

If Miami had gone into Buffalo and walked over them like they did the Patriots and Denver I'd be optimistic for a playoff appearance.  Now not so much.  I do look for them to win the next two games though.

A Dolphins win and losses by either the Ravens or the Titans keeps Miami alive for another week

I think you need to root for NE as well.

While I'd love to see the Dolphins finish 9-7, I'm not sure I even want them to make the playoffs. I'd fear another poor showing in the playoffs against superior teams away from Miami. I've been there and done that and it doesn't feel good.

Fear not.  The dolphins won't lose a playoff game this year

Alex Smith won his first 9 games when he was traded to KC.  Let's not start measuring Jimmy G for the HOF jacket just yet.

I think he's pretty good and would like to see him in Miami.  This actually doesn't have much to do with his wins in San Fran and everything to do with my friends who still cover the Pats and their opinions on the man.

I'll take him.

Jimmy Garoppolo will be a 49er for "at least" 5-6 more years... or until we win 3 more titles, whichever comes first. ;-)

He is a free agent at the end of the season.  The 49ers have the right to tag him but that is still only a one year deal.

Denial...it isn't just a river in Egypt.
