 Cry I enjoyed listening to him call games,the end of calling football, he did have a horrible tendency of saying the wrong names a lot! I'd flip over and listen to the Padre's home broadcast '14-'15-'16'  when the Cubs played at San Diego.I really liked seeing all the interviews with him as the Winder meeting in 2015 when he won the Ford Frick award.....Rest in Peace

A gentleman, and a great announcer. He always did his best to make it about the game and the players, not about himself.  RIP
