Met someone yesterday that worked for the Dolphins catering contractor in 2004.  She thought JT, Zack Thomas and Seau where 3 of the nicest people she has ever met.  They knew she was a Patriots fan and gave her a lot of good natured crap after the MNF game.

Marino she met at a fan meet and greet and thought he was an absolute douche based on the way he treated an 8 year old fan.

Marino can be intense but is not a bad guy. I've been around him, as well, know people who know him on a personal level. I'm sure he has been impatient or not danced for them as they had wanted but overall he is a pretty decent guy.  They guy has literally had millions of interactions. Some are bound to not be as fruitful as the public may have wanted.
