According to Armando ...

The Miami Dolphins will sign WR Chris Chambers, OL Vernon Carey, DE Jeff Cross, LB A.J. Duhe, DT Paul Soliai and P Brandon Fields (what a haul!) to ceremonial one-day contracts on Friday.

They signed Marino to a one day contract last year so I guess this is a yearly thing.

Cheap, easy PR.  I'm surprised teams don't do this more often.

Soliai and Fields are both from the much-maligned draft of 2007.  Interesting.

Maybe they should sign them to REAL contracts.  Their 2018 win/loss record would probably be about the same as with the current roster.   Grin
