From the mind that brought you Pizza-cles, Dildarts, and Guess What's In My Pants: The Board Game.

Bill Belichick will retire one of two ways:

He wins the next two Superbowls, thus giving him 4 out of 6 and equaling Chuck Noll.
He wins 10+ games a year over the next 7 years, breaking Don Shula's record of 325.

Meanwhile:

Nick Saban wins two more national championships at Alabama giving him more than Bear Bryant while at Alabama and more overall titles.  Quits to avoid burnout and or scandal.  Spends a year as an analyst and joins the Patriots as DC/Special assistant to the head coach.

The second Belichick retires, Nick Saban becomes the new head coach of the New England Patriots.

My less insane prediction, BB retires and becomes VP of Football operations.  NE only interviews three people for HC Josh McD, Brian Flores, and Ian Fears because nobody else will interview.  Josh becomes HC and Brian gets promoted to D.C. Ian to OC.

I have to believe Josh was verbally promised something like that already. Otherwise ... his backing out at the last minute really doesn't make sense.

I agree.  And so nobody will interview.  Patriots will use Flores and/or Fears to compile with Rooney and get a promotion on Josh's staff in return.

I agree as well.  The only reason they couldn't make him the "head coach in waiting" like they do at colleges is because it would be a clear violation of the Rooney Rule

Saban's not coming back to the NFL. He's got it better at Alabama.

Exactly, the NFL has a salary cap but Saban can pay those kids whatever he wants.

Belichick doesn't need to win a 6th and 7th SB to equal Noll's 4 titles.

That's like saying Brady needs to win the next two to get 4 titles in a decade and equal Joe Montana.

NE only wins 6 games this season, brady retires after punching a reporter and BB decides it isn't worth it to start over without a QB and also quits

Correct.  He needs to win the next two to get 4 out of 6.

Brady 6 SB wins; 9 time Conf Champ
Montana 4SB win; 4conf champ.

How is this question?
