I really didn't know what to name the title so if someone wants to change it or has a better idea for a subject go ahead.

Just wanted to let everyone know what has happened in my life lately. I got a job at a Home Care Agency. I went for, and got a Personal Support Specialist Certification. I was a little nervous with the test but i ended up getting 58 out of 60 questions right.

Basically what i do is help people with their life, either i go do grocery Shopping for them, help with tasks around the house or apartment like cleaning, and helping them take a shower, bring them to doctors appointments, etc. I certainly feel like i am making a positive impact on their lives.

I plan to go for a CNA (Certified Nursing Assistant) Certification mostly to gain more knowledge and a little more pay wouldn't hurt.

Congrats.  That's an important role.  I'm dealing with my father's aging and we have a lot of support and help and even we have to bring in people to assist with his day to day.  I can only imagine not having help with stuff like that.

Keep doing good, bro.

Sounds like that can be both a difficult and rewarding experience. Keep up the good work.

That is a physically and emotionally tough career that you have entered.  But a very honorable one.  My wife started off as a CNA doing the dirty work for not a lot of pay.  She paid her dues, worked on her education, got her RN and a BSN degree and now makes a great living as a health coach for Cigna Insurance.  So Health Care will definitely afford you the opportunity to grow and move upwards in your career.  Best of luck to you!
