The defense didn't get it done when they needed too. 

17-17, they let the Bengals march down and take the lead. 

Championship defense do that.

When Brady threw a pick-six in the Super Bowl, his defense stepped up and played out of this world for the second half.

This isn't a championship defense.  Or a championship offense.  Or a championship QB, RBs, WRs, LBs, or DBs.
"Championship-level" should not be the standard of determining who had a good game when talking about a team that hasn't won a playoff game since Bill Clinton was in office.
