Last offseason, Dolphins head coach Adam Gase said he wanted to change the culture of his locker room. Signing running back Frank Gore was part of that culture change as the 35-year-old received a significant honor on Wednesday morning.

Gore was among the 32 players nominated for the Art Rooney Sportsmanship Award, which recognizes players around the league who “exemplify outstanding sportsmanship on the field.” The award began in 2014 in honor of the late founding owner of the Pittsburgh Steelers and Pro Football Hall of Famer Art Rooney Sr.

He won the award already.  I wonder if that will come into play, e.g. nobody has ever won the Walter Payton award twice.

It was an honor to drop him from my fantasy team this week, as well.

This is the first year in probably a decade I haven't played fantasy football.  Kind of freeing.

I know the feeling.   I'm not playing any fantasy, survival, pick em, or anything this year.   Got a lot more important things going on than football.
