FIVE teams are tied at 5-5 for the last playoff spot.

I can't ever recall that happening this late in the season.

Next week is definitely must win for Miami.

Do you think what happens over the balance of this season will affect Gase's future with the team?

If the Dolphins go 1-5 or 0-6, then it would affect Gase's future.  However, if they muddle through and go 8-8, then he'll be back for one more year.

Yes there are regularly five teams, or more, vying for a playoff spot with 6 weeks left.

1 seed = chiefs.
5 seed = chargers.
2-4 pats steelers texans in some order

5 way (maybe 6) race for the final wildcad spot.

^ Likely, but 3 out of 4 first places could flip in two weeks. And the Steelers are only 2.5 games ahead of the Ravens.

Of course, there's a reason those first place teams are in first place...
