While I understand the cap savings, I think that it would have benefited Flores to have guys in the locker room that can say, “yeah, that is what we did in NE, if you want to win a Lobardi, you need to get on the program he is instilling “

I was expecting you to say something like, "Miami cuts its highest-rated passer from last season."

On another note, Brian Flores needs to recognize that this is not New England.  Opponents aren't just going to roll over and hand games to Miami.  Mistakes have consequences in Miami.  What worked in New England is not necessarily going to work in Miami.

Guess the Dolphins will have to find another washed-up New England castoff to throw money at this year.  Looks like Chris Hogan is available... maybe he can come in and teach his former teammates "how to be winners!"

Oh look, right on schedule:

Dolphins host former Patriots TE Dwayne Allen on free-agent visit
