What moves would you make?    Personally, I'd stay out of NFL markets at all costs.   I'd want teams in midsize cities that don't have NFL teams but have NFL fan bases that could embrace the concept of their own hometown football team.

I'd move Atlanta to Columbia, SC and move Arizona to Albuquerque, NM.   I'd also add a team in Boise, ID and one in Storrs, CT

Why Storrs, CT? That just seems kind of random to me. I'd love a local team. Local being Boston.

Because Boston has the Patriots, Red Sox, Bruins, Celtics, and a bunch of other sports teams to compete against.   Remember, this league has all its teams playing at college stadiums.   The Storrs, CT team could play at UCONN and attract fans from both the Boston and the New York areas.

what football stadium does unconn have in Storrs and what highway exists there? .. they're better off having games in new haven if they're going for that new york but not new york audience ..  and they get I-95

Nobody wants anything to do with New Haven. Yale is there. But seriously, Have you ever been to the Yale Bowl, or Newhaven? Don't if you haven't. The Yale Bowl is not a comfortable place to watch a game. Splintery wooden benches, you're far from the field, and it's a bowl shaped stadium. Ugly as anything, and Newhaven is a dangerous place to be. Besides, Newhaven is so close to NYC that you'd be competing with the NYC teams, and Newhaven being so far away from Boston and Metro Boston, you're not likely to get fans from there either.

Why move Atlanta?  They seem to be a very viable franchise in one of the country's largest cities...

Only suitable location in the northeast is Syracuse. Need a dome during their playing season.

I'd be down with ABQ. We tried to get a team once. Then we went bankrupt.

After reading this post, I looked it up and it turns out they play just outside of Hartford.   So move the team there.

You sound like you know the area.

Hartford would be good. Just about equidistant between NYC and Boston.

Football should be played in the elements.
