Played Dark Souls - it bothered the hell out of me how quickly it could overwhelm you. This game's different. It's overwhelmingly difficult at first, but I never got the sense that I had really screwed the pooch in a way that'd permanently make it impossible to fix. I always felt like if I just kept plugging and thinking I could get there. And you can - and, man, what a feeling of accomplishment when you get there.

I highly recommend, as long as you are patient and know how wild From games can be (this is arguably less wild than Souls bc it is much less grotesque in its imagery, but nonetheless gets pretty crazy).

Rating: 4.7 out of 5 stars

-.3 stars for that damn blazing bull. What a pain in the ass.
