In one of the least anticipated match ups of the season the 0-5 Deadskins take on the 0-4  LOLphins.  This game could have huge ramifications for the draft and the respective teams quests to join the 08 Lions “accomplishment”.  With plenty tickets on stubhub available for as low as $25, expect a small crowd.  Also it could be a mixed crowd with some of the few Dolphin fan that show up rooting for a higher draft pick joining a small handful of retirees from the DC area in rooting for Washington.

Fun fact: First week 6 or later meeting of two winless teams since in 2004.

Predicted score.  Washington 2-0.  Only score comes late fourth quarter when a miscommunication between Haack and Pepper results in ball being sent out the back of the end-zone fueling endless debate if this was just a sign of how incompetent the Dolphins are or if this was a nefarious purposeful tanking.  🙂🙂🙂🙂🙂🙂

What is your prediction?

It is still possible for both Wash and Cinc to both go 0-16.  Also possible for SF and NE to meet at the SB both being 18-0.

Huge game for us, we really have to hope that Washington rallies around the new coach and wins this one behind Case Keenum. If they lose to us, they spiral and could go 1-15.

Trap game for one of these teams. We’ll find out who wants that number one pick more. Redskins or Dolphins.

Of course Flores goes for a 2pt conversion while at home against arguably the worst opponent MIA will play this year.

The fix is in, comrades.

If Flores was looking to lose he wouldn't have switched QBs.  Going for two makes sense if you want to avoid OT.  make it you win miss you lose.

Exactly, he had an onside kick and everything. I understand going for 2 completely. The season will be 2 wins at best, so why not go for it? What do you got to lose? Probably our best shot to win that game.

Of course, don't ever fucking do it again.

Going for 2 makes sense if you are an overmatched team hoping to steal a win from a significantly better opponent, or if you are on the road.

Or if you want to end the game.

What happened today also happened twice in 2017 with Matt Moore coming in for Jay Cutler.

Dave said the reason he played well was because the team hadn't prepared for his style of play and he was coming in fresh after everybody else was tired.

Is there a way the Dolphins can use this to their advantage with a two-quarterback system?

I agreed with it.

Under the old rules, i would have said try to tie the game, but a thirty five yard extra point is far from a gimme.

The Dolphins were clearly the weaker team.  The Redskins definitely would have had the advantage in overtime.

The play call was similar to what the Patriots did in the Super Bowl against the Falcons.

However, even Drake had caught the ball, he wasn't going to score.
