Don't do it.  They're still going to lose and you're going to feel dirty.  Take my word for it.  Root against them and be pleasantly surprised if you are wrong.

I have only rooted for the Jets once in my life -- Week 17, 2008. Brett Farve let me down.

I rooted for the Jets in the divisional round game against the Patriots.  It was nice to see LT and JT finally get the better of BB and Brady.
