Doesn't seem like a big deal on the surface but out of 32 teams it's only one team that keeps "making mistakes" and getting caught. Their history doesn't help them in any way.

^^^^^^^

We all know how they won their Super Bowls.   Now that Brady is clearly in decline, they're about to get their come-uppance in a big way.

I noticed the refs made several bad calls/non calls that went against them in their Chiefs game Sunday when in the past those calls would go in their favor

In this case, I would believe them if they said it was an accident. It's the freaking Bengals.

I'm also inclined to believe this was pretty innocent that was blown out of proportion because it's the Patriots. Having said that, they brought that on themselves so I don't really cut them any slack. This deserves to be investigated fully and if found to be an innocent mistake then fine, but on the other hand if there's even the tiniest shred of evidence that they were in fact trying to videotape the Bengals signals, they should be be banned from post-season play this year.

The "they were only taping an equipment manager" doesn't hold water with me.

* A source told ESPN "a Bengals employee was watching the videographer/cameraman who identified himself as a Robert Kraft employee. The Bengals employee kept an eye on that monitor, (and) the shot was of the Bengals coaches and staff on the sidelines for the entire 1st quarter."

*According to The Athletic's Paul Dehner Jr., who cited sources who have seen the footage, "it shows about eight minutes of footage focusing on recording the Bengals’ sideline. It’s a direct view of the sideline as coaches make signals for plays. This isn’t an over-the-shoulder of the advanced scout who is doing his job stuff. This is shooting the sideline. For an extended period of time. The egregious nature of the video is why it set off the firestorm it did during the game with the Bengals executives in the press box."

I don't know what any of that means.  Doesn't sound good.  About to play the Bengals after losing three of the last five games, about to go on the road where it's hard to win.  You can't get out of your own way on offense.  And you're caught doing this, with your history?

That won't happen. More than likely they will lose a 3rd - 5th round draft choice.

They already lost a 1st round draft choice for doing this the last time. 2nd offense should be forfeit post season play.

I'd love to see him and Tom Brady both get the Roger Clemens/Barry Bonds treatment from the Pro Football Hall Of Fame

If that's true I'm on board for removing them from the playoffs. It's the only way they will stop doing it. Nothing short of this matters. It's time to actually do something to the Patriots that will make them want to stop.

If the NFL can prove the Pats were doing this all along, then pull an NCAA move on them and have them vacate their Super Bowl wins

I'm hoping for an actual punishment but my hopes aren't very high on this one.
