THE ASSCLOWN AWARD

« on: December 31, 2019, 12:51:33 pm »

How was it?

I did a Tough Mudder for the first time
I lost my last surviving grandparent, my grandfather, at the age of 103
I welcomed the birth of my niece
I broke my record for earnings in a year

2019 was my year for the 501st.

I made a Stormtrooper costume and it opened a bunch of doors for me.  I have also been hired by Lucasfilm a few times to do local events.  I recently was sent to Jordan through the Royal Jordanian Film Commission to help promote the red carpet opening of The Rise of Skywalker for the Jordanian Crew.

It's been a wild ride.

I had a pretty good 2019, and I hope it continues into 2020.  I've been in kind of a funk for the last several years, but was able to take a few trips last year that really improved my outlook on life.  Plus I finally was able to replace a tenant at my rental property that had cost me thousands of dollars and untold amount of stress over the five or six years.
