1-6

Score was nowhere near as close as this game was. Texans got destroyed by a very good team. They now need to either go 8-1 and hope for some tiebreakers or 9-0 for a Wild Card spot. They have one of the tough schedules remaining and only one game against the pathetic Jaguars. It's not just wishful thinking on my part but I think they will go ahead for a fire sale. At the very least, be open to listening to everything offered. You can't have the exact same team that is 1-6 going into 2021 and expect a much different result.

Right now we own the 4th overall pick but lot of football left. A meaningless 3 game winning streak can drop us 10 spots and I don't think the Jets are going to win a game this year if they don't fire Adam Gase. Best case scenario right now is we somehow get the #2 pick and ransom it off to QB needy teams who want Justin Fields.

^^^ Miami just may need to lose their remaining game against the Jets to improve the Texans draft pick.

I don't see the Texans finishing with less than 3 wins, they do have talent on that team. Problem is, 0-16 is very feasible for the Jets if they don't fire Gase soon so even that win against us won't matter.

Bye week but the Vikings pulled off a huge upset to get their 2nd win and so did Cincy who now has 2 wins and a tie. Jets lost of course and they are going 0-16, absolutely wretched team. Still, if the Texans sell off some talent in the next 2 days, a Top 5 pick can still be in the cards.

I'm hoping the Jets can manufacture some wins and the Cowgirls continue to suck. I really don't want Trevor Lawrence in our division.

It's not impossible for them to win 2-3 games, but I don't see any wins until Gase is fired. No reason to delay the inevitable but these are the Jets.

Giants are fierce competition for that top spot as well.

Yeah but it's still very early in the year. A win by them next week and they can drop to 10th. Fortunately, the NFC East teams will win against each other and I guess the AFC East teams below us as well. In August, we would've been ecstatic with a Top 10 pick and we still should be but the way they started, we all want Top 5 now.

According to their owner, they "like their players" and will not be having a fire sale. Could just be posturing but he is delusional enough to think this is a good idea.

Based on next Weeks Schedule games to watch would be

Giants 1-6 Vs Washington 2-5
Texans 1-6 Vs Jacksonsville 1-6
Pats 2-5 Vs Jets 0-8

Then You could add other 2 wins teams which we should all want to win

Broncos 3-4 Vs Falcons 2-6
Lions 3-4 Vs Vikings 2-5
Raiders 4-3 Vs Chargers 2-5
Steelers 7-0 Vs Cowboys 2-6

So We should be rooting for Giants, Jaguars, Pats, Falcons, Vikings, Chargers and Cowboys.

Giants beating the Bucs 17-15 heading into the 4th. This would be huge for our draft pick.

Giants lose......of course. Jones is terrible and might be benched soon. Any mock draft that has them picking second and not taking a QB is a joke. Depending on who is #3, we might see QBs taken with the first 3 picks.

Not sure if true but I heard that the Jets have never fired anyone during the season. Woody is an old school owner.

That's probably right since Kotite went 3-13 in 1995 and then 1-15 in 1996 instead of being fired halfway through. Plus, we all know the saga of Rex Ryan and how they held onto him for too long.

I just looked up the Jets head coaches. They only have two in their history with a winning record and one only coached a year. Man they suck.
