Just to clarify the true nature of this thread, no we were not Patriot fans last night.  I would rather see them lose and be shitty then see a potential other wildcard team get another win.  FTP!

That is my question: what interest would a Dolphins fan have in a NE victory over the Ravens?  If we were playing the Texans I could understand it for the draft pick or the Bills for the division, but I don’t get this one.

Because the Ravens are a team Miami is competing for in the wild card race.

Let's break this down

You would rather see them lose and be shitty (Did not happen)

THAN

See another potential wildcard team get a win  (Did not happen)

Doesn't it have to be one thing happen and one thing not happen for what you said to make sense?

Edit:

For example, if I said I would rather the Patriots win, than see another potential playoff competitor get a win.

Patriots win (happened)

Potential playoff competitor win (Did not happen)

Double edit:

I yahoo'd FTP, and it didn't give me an answer, just a thing on banking.  What does it stand for?

This.  There is also FTJ and FTB, I'll leave those to your imagination.

Let me rephrase, because I'm pretty sure I typed it wrong.  I would rather see the Patriots lose and continue to suck, then see the Ravens lose even if it benefits Miami in the wildcard race.  The reason I say that is we're a good enough team to get to the playoffs on our own, and I hate the Patriots.

Edit:

Patriots lose, Ravens lose.

If the Ravens had defeated the Patriots they'd be 7-3.

Instead, they are 6-4 and the Patriots are still finished.

Score this one in the D4l is right column
