He was a 5-time Pro Bowler and the MVP of Super Bowl VII.

Dude played when men were men.  He played in the Super Bowl loss to the Cowboys with two broken wrists.   Went on to be the MVP of Super Bowl VII the following year.  I'm very glad that back in 2010, he and Shula ended their decades long feud and made up.  38 years is a long time to hold a grudge and it is good that they made peace with each other while they were still alive.

Pretty sad to see all of my childhood Dolphins heroes passing away.  RIP, Mr. Scott.

2020 is a year that just sucks more the longer it goes...  Sad

RIP to the original legend who wore the number 13 (before you know who...)

A worthy legend and HOF caliber... even if the HOF has not recognized this no-name guy who just happened to be MVP of Super Bowl VII.

Jake Scott, for me, is best known for having a statue/bust/mannequin thing in a display case at Dolphins Stadium that looks like Annie Lennox.
