This is exactly why you are being programmed to hate Trump. As the current media has proven ... money can buy anything.

Trump tweets video of Chinese professor claiming that Beijing can swing US policy because it has 'people at the top of America's core inner circle of power' in clip that has been deleted from social media in China

-Di Dongsheng, a professor at Renmin University in Beijing, appeared on a Chinese television show about Wall Street and international trade last month
-The video was deleted from Chinese social media soon after being uploaded but copies were made which have since been circulating including YouTube
-Professor Di stated how China had 'people at the top of America's core inner circle of power and influence' for years
-Di said the relationship was true for decades until President Trump came along
-He also notes how the Obama administration was easy to manipulate
-Di believes the old ties between China and the U.S. will be restored once President Biden is in the White House
-Excerpts of the video were tweeted by President Trump on Monday night after Tucker Carlson shared a clip on his show

What's the point here?  A professor in China has an opinion?

Look, I'm not programmed to hate Trump.  I do hate Trump, primarily because I find him to be a literal egomaniac and a liar.  I wanted to give him a chance early, but I just never could.  He lied about crowd size really early on.  It showed me that he was dishonest, but narcissitic and petty.

I don't think he's an honest person.  So when he talks now about COVID, elections, his intentions, what he says to people -- I simply do not believe him.

I think he only cares about his own popularity and is a sociopath who lacks compassion for others.  This isn't from the media -- this is from things he has stated to me that I verify as bullshit with my own eyes.

One more thing:

Trump is an asshole.  To me.  Daily.

I follow his tweets and he sticks his finger in my goddamn eye every day.  It's what his followers love about him -- he's a dick to me and goads me every day on purpose.  He mocks his own constituents in a way that no leader should, whether opposition or not.  I am not being told by the media to hate Trump -- I do it because he calls me a loser, a fraud, and a fake every single day.

So, you'll have to excuse me when I say "fuck him."

Thank god! I was beginning to think that the POTUS had a stranglehold on unsubstantiated claims! Good to know China is still around to make the US look better by comparison. LOL

CHECKMATE LIBS

The fact that someone would honestly cite something like this as "proof" of... well, anything... says a lot more about the poster than the content itself.  This is the conservative equivalent of "Check out this video of a union steward in Jersey who says Saudi Arabia blackmailed Bush into letting Bin Laden escape." It's laughable.

And to Sunstroke's point, this isn't even "China" making these claims.  It's a literal rando who happens to have a job in China.  Come on.

edit: I said "Sunstroke," but it was Pappy13's comment I was referencing.

This is the guy.  If you still think he's some rando, that's cool.

Prof. Dongsheng DI is the Associate Dean and a professor on International Political Economics/ world economy with the School of International Studies, Renmin University of China. He is also a senior research fellow at International Monetary Institute of RUC. His research interest covers topics such as the politics and economics of global currency and financial issues, as well as Chinese foreign economic relations, while his recent research and publications is about the ongoing trade war(s) between US and the rest of the world.
Prof. DI got his Ph.D degree in 2004 from Renmin, and before that he studied in European Universities including Science-Po (France) and Durham (UK). His education background covers different disciplines, including International Finance, Politics, and Strategy history.
In his academic career, Prof. DI published two books, dozens of papers, and hundreds of op-ed articles in both Chinese and English. In 2019, his new book ‘the Power of Money: Relations among Politics, the Market and the People’ is published by China Social Science Press. Prof. DI is also active in providing consultant services to both governmental institutes and private businesses. He is one of the advising experts to the NDRC of China on projects such as China-India Strategic Economic Dialogue and China’s investment in Europe. He is also one of the experts appointed by China Development Bank to review China’s foreign aid and investment plans, especially in Asian region.

So you're saying he's almost as much of an authority as, say, Noam Chomsky.  Got it.

"Rando" is absolutely the correct and accurate term to use.  If I were to cite some liberal professor's opinion on who controls the Republican Party, you all would suffocate from laughter.

"Programmed" coming from cult members.  Irony.
Yes your comment truly is ironic since it proves my point.
