Do you swim with soap? Not a bath.

Fair point, but...

Chlorine can disinfect in terms of bacteria, no?

I don't think it's that effective at that level of dilution. Besides,  a swimming pool makes you smell weird.

Absolutely not.  Even if you were clean when you got in the water, you need to take a bath/shower AFTER swimming.  Depending on where you were swimming, the best case scenario is that you stink of chlorine; the worst case is that you just stink.

This question is like asking if eating mint-flavored ice cream "counts" as brushing your teeth.  The complete opposite is true.

No, swimming in a chlorinated pool does not constitute a bath.

When I first read the first post in this thread, I was waiting for the punchline...

When I was in Boy Scouts my only bathing for two weeks was the swims in the lake.   Showers were available but only a very small minority of kids made use.

Older now,  I feel the need to rinse off after the pool, lake or ocean but don’t need a full fledge shower.  E.g. a quick outdoor shower with no soap and swimsuit still on is a sufficient rinse off.

In Summer, if the kids were in the pool, sprinklers, spit on by a bum -- I'll likely let a bath slide.  During school time, I'm more of a traditionalist.

Where I live outdoor swimming and school time don’t overlap that much.

When you're done swimming, you've got chlorine or salt all over you that needs to get washed off.  So no, not a bath by any means.

What about playing under the lawn sprinklers?  No chlorine or salt but no soap either, just clean water.

Lawn sprinklers down here usually contain reclaimed water.  I wouldn't recommend playing in those lol.

By me that is only true in some large commercial settings, the sprinklers in the backyard of the house get water from the same source as kitchen tap.
