I can think of the 2005 Steelers, 2007 Giants, or 2020 Bucs.  Which of these three is the better team?   Or is there another team that anyone can think of?

Can the mods add a poll to this?

I think the poll needs adjusting. I think the 2000 Ravens were the best, I hate them too. The 1980 Raiders were probably my favorite.

I missed that one.  I'll admit that 2000 Ravens defense was amazing but that offense with Trent Dilfer got lucky.  All he had to do was not make a mistake.  Put them against a defense with an equal number of playmakers and an offense with multiple weapons and down they go.  Both the 2008 Giants and the 2020 Bucs would beat the 2000 Ravens easily.

That's kind of the point, there wasn't a team with equal amount of playmakers.  It was one of the greatest defenses of all time.

Since there are only 7 Wild Card teams to win the Super Bowl, I have added the remaining teams, deleted Other as an option, and reset the vote counts to zero.

It's hard to go past the 1997 Broncos - beating the previous season's Superbowl Champions and MVP was quite a feat, but then to back it up with an even better performance the following season to win it all is unique in this group. That 1998 team is often considered one of the very best in the history of the NFL, and it was a very similar list.

The Bucs matched the first bit of what Denver did, we will see if they can match the other half of this next year...

For some reason I really rate the 2010 Packers too. They had a great list both sides of the ball and never lost a game by much all season - as the momentum built I got the feeling they were going to be unstoppable, and in the playoffs they were just that. I still can't get over how they went 15-1 the following season and then bombed out to the Giants at home (who ended up winning the Superbowl).

As good as the Ravens defense were (and they were historically one of if not the best), I still can't get past how ugly that offense was.

I picked the two thousand seven (MMVII) Giants because of who they beat and how they did it.
