Republican governors are easing up mask requirements for one reason and only one reason:  They NEED move people to die of covid under the Biden administration than under the Trump administration to win in 2022.

I haven't seen anything saying it was going back up. The talk I've seen in recent days is pointing to obese countries as having the highest death rates which would explain the issues here in the US.

Cases have been down....deaths lagged, but are also down -- however, it seems like that has stalled and we've kinda plateaued.

Anecdotally, I know several people who have gotten the vaccine and several others that are signed up to get it this week.  Things seems to be heading in the right direction, at least in my little circle.  I think Desantis opening up to all teachers and everyone with conditions was the right call.  They are not really checking, so people that are vulnerable or really trying to get the vaccine pretty much can, if they're in the know.

Eventually, we're going to have to get old people who don't know what they're doing, to get signed up -- the single dose will help with that.  Doctors offices can just have a few doses on hand for people that come in for any reason.

Hospitalizations from COVID-19 are dropping across the United States at an average of two percent a day as 66,836 new cases were reported nationwide on Wednesday.

The number has fallen for eight consecutive weeks from January 10 onward, after rising to record highs in December.

First off it's funny that the truth is now coming out that dozens of Capitol police have either been suspended or under investigation for fraternizing with protestors. In fact we've seen videos of some police waving them in and or taking selfies. Not quite the dangerous rioting portrayed by the media. Go figure.

I saw that the union said over 140 officers were injured. I don't know exactly what that means as even a papercut counts as injury but either way ... anyone who attacks police officers or basically anyone protecting the Capital is a piece of crap and deserves jail time. Outside of a few instances I think many of the injuries were a by product accident of being in the way and not a direct attack on officers. The average Trump supporter is a big supporter of the police. Just as I don't think many Democrats approve of 9 month abortions I don't think these idiots represent the typical Trump voter. It's a very small portion or extremists idiots who are looking for a reason to be stupid ... just like the BLM rioters.

LOL!!  OK, Einstein...how many of those 140+ injuries do you "really" think was due to a paper cut?  Hint: If your answer is anything other than "zero," then I vigorously take back the "Einstein" label.
