I think they were in worse conditions when we were stealing immigrant children and then deporting the parents.
I think "many Americans" are more afraid of those of you who won't get the shots.

Although I must say, it's pretty weird for you to invoke a fear of the unvaccinated in this context.  It's like if you were to say, "These immigrants are bringing GUNS across our border, which many Americans find dangerous and unsafe."  This is not really a good faith argument coming from you.

Did you have issues with reading comprehension in school too or did it only recently surface? I asked your opinion about those things and did not state mine. It seems hypocritical to me if you think differently ... as you were trying to pin on me.

^^^ Pretty sure that he said "many of these people are refugees..." And then you ask "Every single one of them?"

Many.  Every single one?

Many.  Every single one?

Hmmm... Reading comprehension, a dying skill set.

Easy Stroke. I understand the written word just fine. I'm only trying to encourage a little critical thinking. According to whom are these many, or every, or a couple or whatever people are refugees? See what I did there? Trying to make people think. You can see refugees, and the poor huddles masses, I see people trying to crash the gates.

I would personally love to see all borders closed for a time. I think that there are enough people in this country to last for a while. I don't like that the USA is looked at as  THE destination for the huddled masses. Go somewhere else, or make your homeland better.
Yes, shut that shit down until it's under control. Hell, I think I read somewhere recently that Biden said that they were going back to keeping them in Mexico until their case was determined.

Which is how it should be.  Contrary to popular opinion, Trump didn't hate immigrants.  He just wanted the illegal ones gone and if they wanted to come back, they could do so legally.

You do understand that "do so legally" means that they have to show up at the border and ask for asylum.

When they did that, they had their kids taken from them and placed in those caged areas.

So much for the legal way...I'd swim across the Rio as well.

Since I wasn't literally born yesterday, I was referring to the many opinions you have previously offered on the subject.  This thread is posted as though we on the left are illogical and blindly partisan ("does it just not matter as long as we have a Democrat in office?") if we're not terrified of unvaccinated people running free within the republic, but half the country thinks COVID is a "plandemic" and doesn't want to get vaccinated anyway.

Don’t care about the party in the white house.

Were the passengers on the SS St. Louis refugees?

Was FDR’s refusal to allow them into the country justified?

What could the passengers done to gain “legal” entry?

****

Bottom line, I oppose any border policy that would not grant those passengers or similarly situated persons today entry into the US.
