I never thought about this until I noticed that the printing on the inside of my belt was upside down when I was putting it on. Is there a right and wrong way?

Traditionally, belts for men have the buckle on the left while it's on the right for women. I have no idea why and it wouldn't bother me in the least to do it otherwise, but now I've done it counterclockwise (buckle on the left) since forever, so changing would be a hassle.

I always go in through the left first.  It would be weird to do it the other way.

I think almost any belt buckle with a logo will be upside down if you start it on the right side.  Belts (or at least, belts for men) go counter-clockwise.
