We are a scant few days away from the start of the 2021-2022 NBA season and Miami's premier sports franchise, the Heat start a promising season.

They're a well run organization, they have:
- stable leadership
- dynastically involved owners
- a consensus top 1-2 coach in the league
- a General manager considered a salary cap savant
- a CULTURE that pushes wins at every opportunity
- a successful veteran core
- promising youth
- 3 championships and 6 finals appearances over the past 15 years

They are a destination franchise for free agents, especially regarded for developing undrafted players into contributors and star players. They are a team that prides itself on hard work and accountability.

I'm excited about the start of this season. May it be great.

They're still not the Lakers. Don't get your hopes up. Good luck this season. Honestly, with the Lakers not winning a single preseason game I'm not looking forward to this season.

The two teams in last year's Finals, the Bucks and my beloved Suns...were both winless last preseason.

^^^^ OH. Didn't know that. So you're basically guaranteeing that the Lakers will return to the Finals this season.

I think the knicks and the hawks are going to regress this season. There's a reason they did so well in the playoffs .. they got the most rest out of anyone. It's no coincidence that the heat and the lakers got bounced in the first round. They had the least rest and the smallest off-season.

Coach Thibodeau is notorious for having a small rotation and giving large minutes to his players. So this preseason he has decided to ease his team into it by having them play 30-40 minutes in the preseason.

Yeah, you're right. We're screwed. Hawks were just playing above their level, Knicks will be gassed and injured by February.

Not if my prayers receive the attention they rightly deserve. Wink

Ben Simmons was just suspended by the Sixers for refusing to participate in practice. He was seen yesterday practicing with his cellphone hanging out of his pocket. So, maximum effort. The players appear to have turned on him too so this might shake up the East a bit.

They will only get 10 cents on the dollar for Ben due to his contract, attitude and ridiculously bad playoff play. Rivers throwing him under the bus last season like an asshole was the beginning of the end. I wouldn't be shocked if he never plays for them again.

Miami curb-stomped the Bucks yesterday. Held Giannis to 14 points and Bam scored all over him at will.
